I erased it again and drove about 5 miles to I have a 2001 E46 BMW 330i with 120K miles and I discovered that my PO171/PO174 trouble codes were attributed to a vacuum leaking O-ring to the DISA valve. The P1083 BMW code indicates a fuel control mixture that is lean in Bank 1 Sensor 1 of the vehicle's engine.
