So, I understand how the maximum fleet capacity works, and that each ship has a capacity weight. and Your navy size needs to be 50% of your Empire Size to get the full Power Projection bonus (+2 influence/month). judging from the numbers, i guess If larger ships hold tactical or strategical merrits than they will be build. Ships are quite huge in stellaris ( if you zoom in you can see that even corvettes have quite alot of decks judging by the windows) so id say anything between 300 and 5000 depending on the ship size. i hear people have 5000/5000 or more naval capacity and i can barely get over 1500 on a regular playthrough (meaning: not one that eats all the galaxy) this is tied to starbase limit I like to think of my ships as being crewed to make them more meaningfull(i even give them names to make there loss mean someting) So how many crew do you think ships have?
